Schoeller has the Indigo Blues and pyroshell™

Schoeller is looking blue: namely in the sporty indigo blue denims for individualised washed-out effects that are permanently elastic and have a high-level comfort for the mountains, the golf course or the city.
The focus is on feeling good in casual, functional synthetic fabrics with the brand-new indigo finish sustainably produced in Switzerland. The new indigo is available in many forms such as abrasion-resistant schoeller®-dryskin double-weaves with fast moisture transport to pleasantly soft, bonded schoeller® WB-400 soft-shells with outstanding breathability, extreme durability and water and dirt repelling properties. The sporty denim look with the cotton feel is also offered by Schoeller as a modern, urban-inspired schoeller®-shape version or as shape-retaining schoeller®-prestige equestrian sport fabric with excellent recovery power.

One important feature of all these indigo fabrics: in order to achieve the unique look, they absolutely must be subjected to a professional jeans wash after the garment has been sewn.

With the pyroshell™ technology Schoeller Textil AG has succeeded in uniting permanent flame protection with polyamide or polyester fabrics. As a new feature, pyroshell™ now offers flame protection in combination with the highly abrasion-resistant ceraspaceTM technology. Flame protection has become mandatory for personal protective equipment in many branches of industry. This means that security staff, railway workers, police officers, staff in power stations and workers in the oil and gas industry are ideally protected when they come into contact with fire and sparks. Its use on elastic fabrics, in EN ISO 20471 colors and now also with membranes, provides greater freedom of movement and comfort in day-to-day work. pyroshellTM technology facilitates permanent flame protection on synthetic fabrics without the use of conventional and often environmentally harmful flame retardants or additives and is produced in accordance with the bluesign® System.
