3D Sewing for the automotive interior

Just seen at Texprocess Americas: a 3D robot sewing machine from KSL Maschinenbau that is used primarily for automobile interiors. The machine sews, for example, instrument panels, door trim or armrests. To ensure that nothing is out of place, a visual system corrects errors in the material or seam track. The video below shows the machine in operation.
